THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
