Hizb 46
< random >
And lo! Jonah verily was of those sent (to warn) 139 When he fled on the laden ship, 140 He (agreed to) cast lots, and he was among the losers, 141 Then he was swallowed by a large fish as he was worthy of blame. 142 Had he not been one of those who acknowledge the glory of God, 143 he would have tarried in its belly until the day they shall be raised; 144 ۞ We then put him ashore on a plain, and he was sick. 145 And We made a gourd tree grow over him. 146 Then We sent him to a hundred thousand or more, 147 They believed in him so We granted them enjoyment for an appointed time. 148 So ask them for a pronouncement -- Has thy Lord daughters, and they sons? 149 Have We created the angels as females before their very eyes? 150 Verily, it is of their falsehood that they (Quraish pagans) say: 151 "God has begotten children." They are truly liars. 152 Did He (then) choose daughters rather than sons? 153 What is the matter with you, how is it that you judge? 154 Then will you not be reminded? 155 Or have you, perchance, a clear evidence [for your assertions]? 156 Then produce your scriptures, if you are telling the truth. 157 And they have made between Him and the jinn a kinship whereas the jinn assuredly know that they are to be brought up 158 Glory be to God above that they describe, 159 Except His chosen creatures who do not. 160 For, verily, neither ye nor those ye worship- 161 can cause anyone to fall prey to your temptation 162 except those who will burn in Hell. 163 As for us, there is none but has an appointed station. 164 "And we are verily ranged in ranks (for service); 165 “And indeed we are those who say His purity.” 166 And indeed, the disbelievers used to say, 167 'If only we had a reminder from the ancients, 168 Surely we would have been the bondmen of God sincere. 169 But when it came to them, they rejected it. They shall soon come to know (the end of such an attitude). 170 We have already given Our promise to Our Messengers 171 That they would certainly be assisted, 172 And that Our forces,- they surely must conquer. 173 So turn thou away from them for a little while, 174 See them and soon they shall see. 175 What! would they then hasten on Our chastisement? 176 When that chastisement will descend upon their courtyard, evil shall that Day be for those who had been warned. 177 And turn away from them till a time 178 And watch (how they fare) and they soon shall see (how thou farest)! 179 LIMITLESS in His glory is thy Sustainer, the Lord of almightiness, [exalted] above anything that men may devise by way of definition! 180 Peace be on the Messengers. 181 And all praise to God, the Lord of all the worlds. 182
True are the words of God the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
