Hizb 46

Jonah too was one of the messengers. 139 He fled to the overloaded ship. 140 He (agreed to) cast lots, and he was among the losers, 141 Then the fish swallowed him, while he was blameworthy. 142 Had he not been one of those who glorify Allah, 143 he would indeed have remained in its belly till the Day when all shall be raised from the dead: 144 ۞ But We cast him forth on the naked shore while he was sick, 145 and We caused a pumpkin tree to grow over him. 146 And We sent him to [his people of] a hundred thousand or more. 147 And they believed, so We gave them enjoyment [of life] for a time. 148 Now ask them their opinion: Is it that thy Lord has (only) daughters, and they have sons?- 149 Or created We the angels females while they were present? 150 Verily, it is of their falsehood that they (Quraish pagans) say: 151 "God has begotten [a son]"; and verily, they are lying [too, when they say,] 152 "He has chosen daughters in preference to sons"! 153 “What is the matter with you? What sort of a judgement you impose!” 154 Then will you not be reminded? 155 Do you have any clear authority for such claims? 156 Then bring ye your Book (of authority) if ye be truthful! 157 They assert kinship between Him and the angels. But the angels know that they (the liars) will be arraigned (in Hell). 158 Glorified be Allah from that which they attribute (unto Him), 159 except the servants of God, sincere and devoted. 160 But as for you, and that you serve, 161 Can tempt anyone to rebel against Him. 162 Except those who are predestined to burn in Hell! 163 [The angels say], "There is not among us any except that he has a known position. 164 Lo! we, even we are they who set the ranks, 165 "And we are verily those who declare (Allah's) glory!" 166 And there were those who said, 167 Had we a reminder from those of yore, 168 We would certainly have been the servants of Allah-- the purified ones. 169 But they disbelieved in it, so they are going to know. 170 for, long ago has Our word gone forth unto Our servants, the message-bearers, 171 That they verily would be made triumphant. 172 And verily Our host! they are to be overcome. 173 Hence, turn thou aside for a while from those [who deny the truth,] 174 and see them; soon they shall see! 175 Do they want to suffer Our torment immediately? 176 When it descends upon their courtyards, evil will be the morning of those forewarned. 177 So turn (O Muhammad SAW) away from them for a while, 178 And wait, for they will soon see. 179 Exalted is your Lord, the Lord of might, above what they describe. 180 Peace be on the Messengers. 181 And praise to Allah, Lord of the worlds. 182
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
