Hizb 46

And Jonah too was one of the Messengers. 139 He fled to the overloaded ship. 140 He (agreed to) cast lots, and he was condemned: 141 So the fish swallowed him while he did that for which he blamed himself 142 and had he not been among those who exalt (Allah), 143 He would have tarried in the belly thereof till the Day when they are raised. 144 ۞ We then put him ashore on a plain, and he was sick. 145 and We caused a gourd tree to grow over him. 146 And We sent him to a hundred thousand, rather they exceeded. 147 and they believed. So We let them enjoy life for a while. 148 Now ask them their opinion: Is it that thy Lord has (only) daughters, and they have sons?- 149 or is it that We have created the angels female, and they [who believe them to be divine] have witnessed [that act of creation]? 150 Now surely it is of their own lie that they say: 151 "Allah has begotten off spring or children (i.e. angels are the daughters of Allah)?" And, verily, they are liars! 152 Did He choose daughters rather than sons? 153 What aileth you? How judge ye? 154 Do you not understand? 155 Or is there for you a plain authority? 156 Then bring your book, if ye say sooth. 157 They have said that there is a relationship between Him and the jinn. The jinn certainly know that they will all be brought to suffer torment. 158 Exalted is Allah above what they describe, 159 Except His chosen creatures who do not. 160 Therefore you and all what you worship. (The disbelievers and their deities.) 161 Can mislead anyone away from Him, 162 Except the one who will go into the blazing fire. 163 "There is not one of us who does not have his appointed place," (declare the angels.) 164 we are those who stand ranged in ranks. 165 And we are most surely they who declare the glory (of Allah). 166 And indeed they used to say: 167 "If we had a reminder as had the men of old (before the coming of Prophet Muhammad SAW as a Messenger of Allah). 168 We would be single-minded slaves of Allah. 169 They have rejected the Quran. They will soon know the consequences (of their disbelief). 170 And verily Our word went forth of old unto Our bondmen sent (to warn) 171 that, verily, they - they indeed - would be succoured, 172 And verily Our host! they are to be overcome. 173 So, [O Muhammad], leave them for a time. 174 And see [what will befall] them, for they are going to see. 175 So are they being impatient for Our punishment? 176 When it descends on their courtyards, how terrible that morning will be for those who were warned! 177 So turn thou from them for a while, 178 and see, soon they shall see! 179 Hallowed be thine Lord, the Lord of Majesty, from that which they ascribe! 180 And peace is upon the Noble Messengers. 181 It is only God, the Lord of the Universe, who deserves all praise. 182
True are the words of God the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
