Remember Our votary Job because he called to his Lord: "Satan has afflicted me with disease and distress." 41 (We answered his prayer, healed his sickness, and told him), "Run on your feet. This is cool water (for you) to wash and drink". 42 And We gave him (back) his family, and along with them the like thereof, as a Mercy from Us, and a Reminder for those who understand. 43 We told him, "Take a handful of straw. Strike your wife with it to fulfill your oath." We found him to be patient. What an excellent servant he was. He was certainly most repenting. 44 (Muhammad), recall Our servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, all of whom possessed virtuous hands and clear visions. 45 We indeed gave them distinction with a genuine affair – the remembrance of the (everlasting) abode. 46 and, in Our sight they were indeed among the select, the truly good! 47 And call to mind Ishmael and Elisha, and every one who [like them] has pledged himself [unto Us]: for, each of them was of the truly good! 48 This is a Remembrance; and for the godfearing is a fair resort, 49 Gardens of perpetual residence, whose doors will be opened to them. 50 Reclining within them, they will call therein for abundant fruit and drink. 51 ۞ And beside them will be chaste females (virgins) restraining their glances only for their husbands, (and) of equal ages. 52 Such is the Promise made, to you for the Day of Account! 53 this is Our provision, unto which there is no end.' 54 This is so! And for the Taghun (transgressors, disobedient to Allah and His Messenger - disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, criminals, etc.), will be an evil final return (Fire), 55 Hell, where they will burn, an evil resting-place. 56 Yea, such! - then shall they taste it,- a boiling fluid, and a fluid dark, murky, intensely cold!- 57 Taste the scalding water, pus, and other putrid things". 58 This is a troop entering with you (in Hell), no welcome for them! Verily, they shall burn in the Fire! 59 [And] they [who had been seduced] will exclaim: "Nay, but it is you! No welcome to you! It is you who have prepared this for us: and how vile a state to abide in!" 60 They will say: "Our Lord! Whoever brought this upon us, add to him a double torment in the Fire!" 61 And they will say: "What has happened to us that we see not men whom we used to number among the bad ones? 62 "Did we treat them (as such) in ridicule, or have (our) eyes failed to perceive them?" 63 Lo! that is very truth: the wrangling of the dwellers in the Fire. 64
