Say, [Prophet], "I am only a warner. There is no god but God, the One, the All-Powerful, 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is in-between the twain, the Mighty, the Forgiver. 66 Say: "This is a message tremendous: 67 Ye are therefrom averting. 68 I have no knowledge of the dispute among the angels (concerning their attitude towards Adam). 69 This alone is revealed to me, that I am only a clear warner.' 70 (Remember) When your Lord said to the angels, “I will create a human from clay.” – 71 and when I have formed him fully and breathed My spirit into him, prostrate yourselves before him." 72 So the angels prostrated - all of them entirely. 73 but not Satan, who was too proud. He became one of those who deny the truth. 74 He (Allah) said: 'iblis, what prevented you from prostrating yourself towards that which I have created with My Hands? Have you become too proud, or are you among the grand' 75 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "I am better than he, You created me from fire, and You created him from clay." 76 He said: Go forth from hence, for lo! thou art outcast, 77 Upon thee shall rest My curse, till the Day of Doom.' 78 (Iblis) said: "O my Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are raised." 79 He said: Lo! thou art of those reprieved 80 till the Day whose Hour I know.” 81 He (satan) said: 'I swear by Your Might, that I will seduce all of them 82 Save Thy single-minded slaves among them. 83 (Allah) said: "Then it is just and fitting- and I say what is just and fitting- 84 I will fill up Hell with you together with those who follow you." 85 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "No wage do I ask of you for this (the Quran), nor am I one of the Mutakallifun (those who pretend and fabricate things which do not exist). 86 It is nothing but a reminder to the nations; 87 You will certainly know its truthfulness after a certain time. 88
