Say, [Prophet], "I am only a warner. There is no god but God, the One, the All-Powerful, 65 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Almighty, the All-Forgiving!" 66 Say: “This is a tiding of tremendous import 67 yet you ignore it. 68 I had no knowledge of the High Assembly's dispute. 69 it has only been revealed to me that I am a plain warner." 70 (Remember) When your Lord said to the angels, “I will create a human from clay.” – 71 "When I have fashioned him (in due proportion) and breathed into him of My spirit, fall ye down in obeisance unto him." 72 The angels prostrated themselves, all of them. 73 save Iblis: he gloried in his arrogance, and [thus] became one of those who deny the truth. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis! What prevents thee from prostrating thyself to one whom I have created with my hands? Art thou haughty? Or art thou one of the high (and mighty) ones?" 75 He said, "I am better than him. You created me from fire and created him from clay." 76 Allah said: get thee forth therefrom; verily thou art driven away. 77 My curse will remain upon you till the Day of Judgement!" 78 He said: My Lord! Reprieve me till the day when they are raised. 79 The Lord said, "You will only be given a respite 80 Until the Day of the time well-known." 81 [Whereupon Iblis] said: "Then [I swear] by Thy very might: I shall most certainly beguile them all into grievous error 82 [all] save such of them as are truly Thy servants!" 83 (Allah) said: "The Truth is, and the Truth I say, 84 [That] I will surely fill Hell with you and those of them that follow you all together." 85 SAY [O Prophet]: "No reward whatever do I ask of you for this [message]; and I am not one of those who claim to be what they are not. 86 This is only a warning for mankind. 87 You will certainly know its truthfulness after a certain time. 88
