Say: "I am only a warner, and there is no other god but God, the one, the omnipotent, 65 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, the Mighty, the most Forgiving. 66 Say: 'It is a mighty tiding 67 Whence ye turn away! 68 I had no knowledge of the High Assembly's dispute. 69 Naught is revealed to me save that I am a plain warner. 70 (Remember) When your Lord said to the angels, “I will create a human from clay.” – 71 And when I have fashioned him and breathed into him of My Spirit, then fall down before him prostrate, 72 So the angels prostrated - all of them entirely. 73 Except Iblis; he was proud and was, from the beginning, a disbeliever. 74 He (Allah) said: 'iblis, what prevented you from prostrating yourself towards that which I have created with My Hands? Have you become too proud, or are you among the grand' 75 Said Iblis, “I am better than him; You made me from fire, and You have created him from clay!” 76 The Lord said, "Get out of here. You deserve to be stoned! 77 and My curse shall remain upon you till the Day of Resurrection.” 78 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "My Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are resurrected." 79 [Allah] said, "So indeed, you are of those reprieved 80 until the day of the known time.' 81 (Iblis) said: "Then, by Thy power, I will put them all in the wrong, 82 Save Thy bondmen among them Sincere. 83 He (Allah) said: 'This is the truth, and I speak the truth: 84 I will certainly fill the Gehenna with you and with all those among them who follow you.” 85 Say thou: I ask of you for it no hire, nor am I of the affecters. 86 this is simply an admonition to mankind, 87 and after a while you shall know its news' 88
