Say, "[God says] O My servants who have believed, fear your Lord. For those who do good in this world will have a good reward -- and God's earth is spacious. Truly, those who persevere patiently will be requited without measure." 10 Say [O Muhammad]: "Behold, I am bidden to worship God, sincere in my faith in Him alone; 11 "And I am commanded (this) in order that I may be the first of those who submit themselves to Allah (in Islam) as Muslims." 12 Say thou: verily I fear, if I disobeyed my Lord, torment of a Day mighty. 13 Say: “Allah alone shall I serve, consecrating my devotion to Him. 14 So serve, apart from Him, whomsoever you please.” Say: “Behold, the real losers shall be those who will have lost their own selves and their kith and kin on the Day of Resurrection. Behold, that is the obvious loss. 15 They will have sheets of fire above them and sheets of fire beneath them." That is how God puts fear into the hearts of His servants. Fear me, then, My servants. 16 There is good news for those who shun the worship of false deities and turn to God, so give good news to My servants, 17 who listen to the Words and follow what is finest of it. These are they whom Allah has guided. They are those of understanding. 18 Is, then one against whom the Word of punishment justified (equal to the one who avoids evil). Will you (O Muhammad SAW) rescue him who is in the Fire? 19 But for those who truly feared their Lord, there will be tall mansions, built up storey upon storey, beneath which there will be rivers flowing. This is God's promise: God never fails in His promise. 20 Do you not see that Allah sends down water from the cloud, then makes it go along in the earth in springs, then brings forth therewith herbage of various colors, then it withers so that you see it becoming yellow, then He makes it a thing crushed and broken into pieces? Most surely there is a reminder in this for the men of understanding. 21
