۞ And who could be more wicked than he who invents lies about God? and gives the lie to the truth as soon as it has been placed before him? Is not hell the [proper] abode for all who deny the truth? 32 And he who brings the truth and (he who) accepts it as the truth-- these are they that guard (against evil). 33 They shall have what they wish from their Lord. This is the recompense for the good, 34 God will efface their worst deeds from their record and give them their reward in accordance with the best of their actions. 35 Is it not that Allah suffices His worshiper, even though they frighten you with those other than Him? He whom Allah leads astray has no guide. 36 And whom Allah guides, there is none that can lead him astray; is not Allah Mighty, the Lord of retribution? 37 And wert thou to ask them: who hath created the heavens and the earth? they will surely say: Allah. Say thou: bethink ye then that those whom ye call upon beside Allah, could they if Allah intended some hurt for me, remove His hurt? or if He intended some mercy for me, could they withhold His mercy? Say thou: enough for me is Allah; in Him the trusting put their trust. 38 Say, "My people, do whatever is in your power -- and so will I. Soon you shall come to know 39 Who it is unto whom cometh a doom that will abase him, and on whom there falleth everlasting doom. 40 [O Prophet!] We have sent down to you the Book for mankind with the truth. Then whoever adopts the right way, will do so for his own soul, and whoever goes astray, injures his own soul. You are not their custodian. 41
