۞ Who does greater wrong than he who tells a lie against God, and denies the truth when it has come to him? Is there no place for unbelievers in Hell? 32 And the one who has brought the truth and [they who] believed in it - those are the righteous. 33 For them is whatever they wish, before their Lord; this is the reward of the virtuous. 34 That God may absolve them of their sins and reward them for the best that they had done. 35 Is not Allah sufficient for His bondman? Yet they would frighten thee with those beside Him? And whomsoever Allah sendeth astray, for him there shall be no guide. 36 And no one can mislead whomever Allah guides; is not Allah the Most Honourable, the Avenger? 37 If you ask them: “Who created the heavens and the earth?” they will surely answer: “Allah.” Tell them: “What do you think, then, of the deities whom you call upon instead of Allah? If Allah should will that an affliction befall me, will those deities remove the harm inflicted by Him? Or if Allah should will that I receive (His) Mercy, will they be able to withhold His Mercy from me?” Say: “Allah is sufficient for me; those who have to put their trust, let them put their trust in Him. 38 Say, "My people, do whatever is in your power -- and so will I. Soon you shall come to know 39 “To whom will come a punishment that will disgrace, and upon whom descends the punishment that never ends.” 40 BEHOLD, from on high have We bestowed upon thee this divine writ, setting forth the truth for [the benefit of all] mankind. And whoever chooses to be guided [thereby,] does so for his own good, and whoever chooses to go astray, goes but astray to his own hurt; and thou hast not the power to determine their fate. 41
