The man who believed said further: "O my people! Follow me: I will lead you to the Path of Right. 38 O my people, surely this present life is but a passing enjoyment; surely the world to come is the abode of stability. 39 Whoso doeth an ill-deed, he will be repaid the like thereof, while whoso doeth right, whether male or female, and is a believer, (all) such will enter the Garden, where they will be nourished without stint. 40 ۞ My nation, how is it that I call you to salvation and you call me to the Fire? 41 Ye call me to disbelieve in Allah and ascribe unto Him as partners that whereof I have no knowledge, while I call you unto the Mighty, the Forgiver. 42 “So it is self evident that what you call me towards has no benefit being prayed to, either in this world or in the Hereafter, and that our return is towards Allah, and that the transgressors only are the people of the fire.” 43 And you will remember what I [now] say to you, and I entrust my affair to Allah. Indeed, Allah is Seeing of [His] servants." 44 Thus, God delivered him from the evils which they plotted, and the companions of Pharaoh themselves were encompassed by a dreadful scourge; 45 The Fire; they are exposed to it morning and evening; and on the day when the Hour upriseth (it is said): Cause Pharaoh's folk to enter the most awful doom. 46 And when they wrangle in the Fire, the weak say unto those who were proud: Lo! we were a following unto you; will ye therefor rid us of a portion of the Fire? 47 Those who were stiff-necked will say: verily we are all in it; verily Allah hath judged between His bondmen. 48 Those in the Fire will say to its keepers, "Implore your Lord to relieve our torment for one day," 49 They shall say: Did not your apostles come to you with clear arguments? They shall say: Yea. They shall say: Then call. And the call of the unbelievers is only in error. 50
