Allah it is Who has made cattle for you so that you ride some of them and from some of them you derive food. 79 (Many) benefits ye have from them - and that ye may satisfy by their means a need that is in your breasts, and may be borne upon them as upon the ship. 80 And He shows you His signs; so which sign of Allah will you deny? 81 Have they not then journeyed in the land and seen how was the end of those before them? They were more (in numbers) than these and greater in strength and in fortifications in the land, but what they earned did not avail them. 82 And when their apostles came unto them with evidences, they exulted in the knowledge which was with them, and there surrounded them that which they had been mocking. 83 When they saw Our chastisement, they said: “We have come to believe in Allah, the Only One, and we reject all what we had associated (with Allah in His Divinity).” 84 but believing after seeing Our punishment did not benefit them at all: this is the law of God to deal with His creatures, and thus the disbelievers were the losers. 85
