Elucidated (Fussilat)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
HaMeem. 1 A revelation from Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful. 2 A Book, the verses of which are distinguished, an Arabic Koran for a nation who know. 3 one bearing good news and warning. Yet most of them turned away and are not wont to give heed. 4 And they say, "Our hearts are within coverings from that to which you invite us, and in our ears is deafness, and between us and you is a partition, so work; indeed, we are working." 5 Proclaim (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “Physically I am a human like you – I receive the divine revelation that your God is only One God, therefore be upright towards Him and seek forgiveness from Him”; and woe is to the polytheists. – 6 who pay not the alms, and disbelieve in the world to come. 7 For those who believe and do good works is an enduring wage' 8
