Al-Zukhruf 4 of 7

But as for anyone who chooses to remain blind to the remembrance of the Most Gracious, to him We assign an [enduring] evil impulse, to become his other self: 36 And verily they hinder them from the way, whilst they deem that they are rightly guided. 37 Till, when he cometh unto Us, he saith (unto his comrade): Ah, would that between me and thee there were the distance of the two horizons - an evil comrade! 38 And it will profit you not today, because ye have done wrong, that ye are in the torment sharers. 39 (Muhammad), can you make the deaf hear or guide the blind or the one who is clearly in error? 40 And even if We take you (O Muhammad SAW) away, We shall indeed take vengeance on them. 41 Or if We shew thee that wherewith We threaten them, verily We are going to prevail over them. 42 So hold fast to what has been revealed to you. Surely you are on the Straight Way. 43 And lo! it is in truth a Reminder for thee and for thy folk; and ye will be questioned. 44 Ask those of Our Messengers We sent before thee: Have We appointed, apart from the All-merciful, gods to be served? 45
