1/4 Hizb 50
< random >
۞ When the son of Mary is mentioned as an example, your people turn away from it 57 and said: “Who is better, our deities or he?” They said so only out of contentiousness. They are a disputatious people. 58 He was no more than a servant: We granted Our favour to him, and We made him an example to the Children of Israel. 59 And had We willed We could have appointed angels born of you in the earth to succeed each other. 60 Verily he (i.e., Jesus) is a portent of the Hour. So be in no doubt concerning it and follow Me. This is the Straight Way. 61 and do not let satan prevent you, for he is your clear enemy. 62 When Jesus came with clear proof (in support of his truthfulness), he said, "I have come to you with wisdom to clarify for you some of the matters in which you have disputes. Have fear of God and obey me. 63 Lo! Allah, He is my Lord and your Lord. So worship Him. This is a right path. 64 But certain groups created differences among themselves. Woe to the unjust. They will face a painful torment. 65 Do they only wait for the Hour that it shall come upon them suddenly, while they perceive not? 66 On that Day, [erstwhile] friends will be foes unto one another - [all] save the God-conscious. 67

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
