(It will be said to the true believers of Islamic Monotheism): My worshippers! No fear shall be on you this Day, nor shall you grieve, 68 even those who believed in Our signs, and had surrendered themselves 69 Enter Paradise, you and your wives, in happiness. 70 There shall be passed around them platters of gold, and cups, therein being whatever the souls desire, and the eyes delight in. 'And therein, you shall dwell forever. 71 for such will be the paradise which you shall have inherited by virtue of your past deeds: 72 Ye shall have therein abundance of fruit, from which ye shall have satisfaction. 73 [But,] behold, they who are lost in sin shall abide in the suffering of hell: 74 It will not decrease for them; dumb with despair they will stay in it. 75 And We wronged them not, but they have been the wrong-doers themselves. 76 They will call (to the keeper of Hell-gate): "O Malik, let your Lord decide our fate." He will answer: "You are to stay." 77 INDEED, [O you sinners,] We have conveyed the truth unto you; but most of you abhor the truth. 78 Have they settled upon a plan? We shall also settle on one. 79 Do they imagine We do not hear their secret talk and their private counsels? On the contrary, Our messengers [angels] are at their sides, recording everything. 80 Say: If the Beneficent Allah has a son, I am the foremost of those who serve. 81 But -- exalted be the Lord of the heavens and earth, the Lord of the Throne -- He is far above their [false] descriptions. 82 But leave them to indulge in idle talk and play [with words] until they face that [Judgment] Day of theirs which they have been promised: 83 It is He who is God in heaven, and God on earth: He is the Wise One, the All Knowing; 84 And blessed is He to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and all between them: with Him is the Knowledge of the Hour (of Judgment): and to Him shall ye be brought back. 85 Those whom they call upon, other than Him, have no power to intercede (for them), except those that have knowingly borne witness to the truth. 86 Yet if you ask them: 'Who created you' they will say: 'Allah' How then can they turn away from Him? 87 And (the Prophet) will say: "O Lord, these are certainly a people who do not believe." 88 But turn away from them, and say "Peace!" But soon shall they know! 89
True are the words of God the Almighty.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
