Al-Zukhruf 7 of 7
To such will be said, “O My bondmen! This day there shall be no fear upon you, nor any grief.” 68 [You] who believed in Our verses and were Muslims. 69 Enter Paradise, you and your wives, in happiness. 70 Dishes and goblets of gold will be passed around them with all that their souls desire and their eyes delight in. "There you will remain forever: 71 This is the Paradise which you have received as your inheritance by virtue of what you have done. 72 You will have abundant fruits therein to consume". 73 The criminals will live forever in the torment of hell. Their torment will not be relieved and they will despair of escaping. 74 And it will never be lightened upon them, and they will remain in it devastated. 75 And We did not wrong them, but it was they who were the wrongdoers. 76 And they will call, "O Malik, let your Lord put an end to us!" He will say, "Indeed, you will remain." 77 We brought you the truth, but most of you were averse to the truth. 78 If the disbelievers persist in their disbelief, We shall also persist in punishing them. 79 Or do they think that We do not hear their secret talks and their whispering counsels? Yes, indeed We do and Our messengers (i.e., angels) are with them, writing. 80 Say: “If the Merciful One had a son, I would have been the first one to worship him.” 81 All too glorious is He, Lord of the heavens and the earth, the Lord of all power, for what they ascribe to Him 82 So leave them alone to indulge in their vanities and to frolic about until they encounter that Day of theirs against which they have been warned. 83 And He it is Who in the heaven is Allah, and in the earth Allah. He is the Wise, the Knower. 84 blessed be He who has sovereignty over the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them. He alone has knowledge of the Hour, and to Him you shall be returned. 85 Those whom they call upon, other than Him, have no power to intercede (for them), except those that have knowingly borne witness to the truth. 86 Now if thou ask those [who worship any being other than God] as to who it is that has created them, they are sure to answer, "God." How perverted, then, are their minds! 87 And for his saying: 'My Lord, these are an unbelieving nation' 88 Therefore excuse them and proclaim, “Peace”; for they will soon come to know. 89

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
