Verily the tree of Zaqqum 43 is the food of the guilty, 44 Like molten brass, it seetheth in their bellies 45 Like the boiling of scalding water. 46 (It will be said of such sinners), "Seize them and drag them into the middle of hell. 47 "Then pour over his head the Penalty of Boiling Water, 48 (Saying): 'Taste, surely you are the mighty and noble! 49 This is certainly what you had denied." 50 Verily the God-fearing shall be in a secure place 51 amid gardens and springs, 52 clothed in fine silk and rich brocade, sitting face to face with one another. 53 Thus shall it be: and We shall espouse them to fair, wide-eyed maidens. 54 There can they call for every kind of fruit in peace and security; 55 They taste not death therein, save the first death. And He hath saved them from the doom of hell, 56 As a Bounty from thy Lord! that will be the supreme achievement! 57 We have made the Quran easy for you to recite so that perhaps they may take heed. 58 Wait thou then; verily they also are waiting. 59
