The food of the Zakkum tree 43 shall be the food of the sinful. 44 It is like pitch. It will fume in the belly 45 Like the churning of boiling water. 46 Lay hold of him, and drag him unto the midst of the Flaming Fire. 47 then pour boiling water over his head as chastisement. 48 Taste it - thou who [on earth] hast considered thyself so mighty, so noble! 49 “Indeed this is what you used to doubt about.” 50 But those mindful of God will be in a safe place, 51 Amid gardens and watersprings, 52 Attired in fine silk and brocade, facing each other. 53 Thus shall it be: and We shall espouse them to fair, wide-eyed maidens. 54 While resting in security, they shall call for all kinds of fruit. 55 They will not experience any death other than that which they have already been through. 56 By the beneficence of your Lord. This will be the great success. 57 And We have made it easy in thy language; they might haply be admonished. 58 So watch, [O Muhammad]; indeed, they are watching [for your end]. 59
