The tree of Zaqqum 43 Is the food of the sinful 44 Like the dregs of all! It shall seethe in the bellies: 45 As the seething of boiling water. 46 [It will be commanded], "Seize him and drag him into the midst of the Hellfire, 47 then pour over his head the anguish of burning despair! 48 "Taste you (this)! Verily, you were (pretending to be) the mighty, the generous! 49 Surely this is what you disputed about. 50 [As against this] verily, the God-conscious will find themselves in a state secure, 51 Amidst gardens and springs. 52 clothed in fine silk and rich brocade, sitting face to face with one another. 53 so it will be. We shall wed them to maidens with large, dark eyes. 54 They will call for every kind of fruit with satisfaction. 55 They will not taste death again in it, except their former death; and Allah has saved them from the punishment of fire. 56 an act of thy Sustainer's favour: and that, that will be the triumph supreme! 57 (O Prophet), We have made this Book easy in your tongue so that they may take heed. 58 Wait then (O Muhammad). Lo! they (too) are waiting. 59
