To God belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. On the day when the Hour of Doom arrives, the followers of falsehood will be lost. 27 And you shall see every nation kneeling down; every nation shall be called to its book: today you shall be rewarded for what you did. 28 This Our record speaks of you in all truth: for, verily, We have caused to be recorded all that you ever did!" 29 So those who believed and did good deeds – their Lord will admit them into His mercy; this is the clear triumph. 30 But as for those who disbelieved, [it will be said], "Were not Our verses recited to you, but you were arrogant and became a people of criminals? 31 "And when it was said that the promise of Allah was true, and that the Hour- there was no doubt about its (coming), ye used to say, 'We know not what is the hour: we only think it is an idea, and we have no firm assurance.'" 32 And the evil consequences of what they did will appear to them, and they will be enveloped by what they used to ridicule. 33 And [the word] will be spoken: "Today We shall be oblivious of you as you were oblivious of the coming of this your Day [of Judgment]; and so your goal is the fire, and you shall have none to succour you: 34 This because you laughed at God's revelations and were taken in by the life of the world." So they will neither be taken out of it, nor will be asked to seek God's favour on that day. 35 It is only God, Lord of the heavens and the earth and Lord of the Universe who deserves all praise. 36 And His alone is all majesty in the heavens and on earth; and He alone is almighty, truly wise! 37
