Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Qaf. By the Qur'an glorious, We have sent thee as a warner. 1 Indeed, they are astonished that a warner should have come to them from among themselves. So these deniers of the truth say, "This is indeed a strange thing, 2 that after we die and become dust, we shall be brought back to life again. This seems far from reality". 3 We already know how much of them the earth takes away: With Us is a record guarding (the full account). 4 Nay, but they have denied the truth (this Quran) when it has come to them, so they are in a confused state (can not differentiate between right and wrong). 5 So did they not see the sky above them – how We have made it and beautified it, and there are no cracks in it? 6 (Have they not seen) how We have spread out the earth, placed on it firm mountains and have made all kinds of flourishing pairs of plants grow? 7 As instruction and reminder to every penitent creature. 8 And We send down from the sky rain charted with blessing, and We produce therewith gardens and Grain for harvests; 9 And lofty palm trees having fruit arranged in layers - 10 As sustenance for the bondmen; and with it We revived a dead city; this is how you will be raised. 11 The people of Noah, Ar-Rass and Thamud denied before you, 12 And the A-ad, and Fir'awn, and the brethren of Lut. 13 and the people of Aykah, and the people of Tubba'. They all gave the lie to the Messengers. Thereafter My threat of chastisement against them was fulfilled. 14 Did We, then, become worn out by the first creation? Not at all; but they are in doubt about a fresh creation. 15
