Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Qaf. I swear by the glorious Quran (that Muhammad is the Apostle of Allah) 1 But nay - they deem it strange that a warner should have come unto them from their own midst; and so these deniers of the truth are saying, "A strange thing is this! 2 What! when we are dead and have become dust? That is afar (from probable) return. 3 We know that which the earth takes of them (their dead bodies), and with Us is a Book preserved (i.e. the Book of Decrees). 4 But they deny the Truth when it comes to them: so they are in a confused state. 5 Have they not looked at the heaven above them, how We have made it and adorned it, and there are no rifts in it? 6 And the earth! We have spread it out, and set thereon mountains standing firm, and have produced therein every kind of lovely growth (plants). 7 as a lesson and a reminder to every penitent worshiper. 8 And We send down from the sky blessed water whereby We give growth unto gardens and the grain of crops, 9 And lofty date-palms with ranged clusters, 10 As a provision for men, and enlivened a region that was dead. Even thus will be the life after death. 11 And before them the people of Nuh belied, and so did the dwellers of Rass and the Thamud. 12 And the A-ad, and Fir'awn, and the brethren of Lut. 13 And the dwellers in the wood, and the people of Tubba; each one belied the apostles, wherefore fulfilled was My judgement. 14 Are We then wearied with the first creation? Aye! they are in dubiety regarding a new creation. 15
