Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Qaf. I swear by the glorious Quran (that Muhammad is the Apostle of Allah) 1 Nay, but they marvel that a warner has come to them from among them; and the unbelievers say, 'This is a marvellous thing! 2 Shall we be brought back when we are dead and have become dust? That is a return remote! 3 We know that which the earth taketh of them, and with Us is a recording Book. 4 Nay, they rejected the truth when it came to them, so they are (now) in a state of confusion. 5 So did they not see the sky above them – how We have made it and beautified it, and there are no cracks in it? 6 And the earth -- We stretched it forth, and cast on it firm mountains, and We caused to grow therein of every joyous kind 7 as a lesson and a reminder to every penitent worshiper. 8 And We have sent down blessed rain from the sky and made grow thereby gardens and grain from the harvest 9 And high date-palms with lush fruit. 10 As sustenance for (Allah's) Servants;- and We give (new) life therewith to land that is dead: Thus will be the Resurrection. 11 The people of Noah, dwellers of the Ra's, Thamud, 12 And the tribe of A’ad, and Firaun, and the fellowmen of Lut. 13 and the people of Aykah, and the people of Tubba'. They all gave the lie to the Messengers. Thereafter My threat of chastisement against them was fulfilled. 14 Were We then weary with the first Creation, that they should be in confused doubt about a new Creation? 15
