Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Qaf. By the glorious Koran! 1 Nay, but they marvel that a warner of their own hath come unto them; and the disbelievers say: This is a strange thing: 2 Why - [how could we be resurrected] after we have died and become mere dust? Such a return seems far-fetched indeed!" 3 We know what the earth diminishes of them, and with Us is a retaining record. 4 In fact, they have rejected the truth that has come to them, thus, they live in confusion. 5 Have they not seen how We have established the sky above them and decked it without gaps and cracks? 6 We stretched the earth and placed upon it firm stabilisers and We made every kind of splendid thing to grow upon it 7 To give sight and as a reminder to every servant who turns frequently (to Allah). 8 We have sent blessed water down from the sky to grow gardens, harvestable crops 9 and tall palm-trees with spathes compact, 10 all this as sustenance for Our servants. And thus We do bring the dead land back to life with water. Such shall be the coming forth (of human beings from the earth). 11 Before them, the people of Noah and the people of Rass denied this truth; and so did the people of Thamud. 12 And 'Ad, and Fir'aun (Pharaoh), and the brethren of Lout (Lot), 13 and the people of Aykah, and the people of Tubba'. They all gave the lie to the Messengers. Thereafter My threat of chastisement against them was fulfilled. 14 Are We then wearied with the first creation? Aye! they are in dubiety regarding a new creation. 15
