Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Qaf. By the glorious Koran! 1 Indeed, they are astonished that a warner should have come to them from among themselves. So these deniers of the truth say, "This is indeed a strange thing, 2 What! when we are dead and have become dust? That is afar (from probable) return. 3 We know what the earth consumes of them, for We have the Book that preserves everything. 4 Nay, they rejected the truth when it came to them, so they are (now) in a state of confusion. 5 Have they not observed the sky above them and marked how We have built it and adorned it, leaving no flaws in it; 6 And (how) We have spread the earth, and placed mountains as anchors in it, and have grown all kinds of beautiful pairs in it? 7 Giving insight and a reminder for every servant who turns [to Allah]. 8 And We send down from the sky blessed water whereby We give growth unto gardens and the grain of crops, 9 And tall date-palms, with ranged clusters; 10 As provision for the servants, and We have given life thereby to a dead land. Thus is the resurrection. 11 Before them, the nation of Noah, the nation of ArRass belied and so did Thamood 12 And the tribe of A’ad, and Firaun, and the fellowmen of Lut. 13 dwellers of the forest, and the people of Tubba had all rejected the Prophets. Thus, they became subject to Our torment. 14 Were We then worn out by the first creation? Yet they are in doubt about a new creation. 15
