We swear that We have created the human being and We know what his soul whispers to him. We are closer to him than even his jugular vein. 16 and the two recording angels are recording, sitting on the right and the left: 17 whatever phrase he utters, an observer is present. 18 And the stupor of death will come in truth; that is what you were trying to escape. 19 And the trumpet will be blown: this is the Day of the Threatening. 20 Each soul will come with a driver and a witness. 21 Certainly you were heedless of it, but now We have removed from you your veil, so your sight today is sharp. 22 And his companion will say: this is that which with me is ready. 23 [Allah will say], "Throw into Hell every obstinate disbeliever, 24 forbidder of good, transgressor and doubter, 25 who set up with God another god; therefore, you twain, cast him into the terrible chastisement.' 26 ۞ His companion will say: Our Lord! I did not lead him into inordinacy but he himself was in a great error. 27 He (Allah) will say: 'Do not dispute before Me. I sent you a warning beforehand. 28 The judgment passed by Me shall not be altered; but never do I do the least wrong unto My creatures!" 29
