And certainly We created man, and We know what his mind suggests to him, and We are nearer to him than his life-vein. 16 Behold! when the two receivers receive - one on the right hand and one on the left a sitter. 17 He utters not a word but there is by him a watcher at hand. 18 And the hardship of death came with the truth; “This is what you were escaping from!” 19 The trumpet will be sounded. This is the Day [you were] warned of. 20 And every soul shall come, with it a driver and a witness. 21 (He will be told), "You were completely heedless of this day. We have removed the veil from your eyes and your vision will now be sharp and strong". 22 And his companions shall say: This is what is ready with me. 23 It will be said to the angels, “Both of you fling every excessive ungrateful, stubborn person into hell.” 24 "Who forbade what was good, transgressed all bounds, cast doubts and suspicions; 25 and an idol worshipper. Throw him into severe torment". 26 ۞ His Companion will say: "Our Lord! I did not make him transgress, but he was (himself) far astray." 27 [Allah] will say, "Do not dispute before Me, while I had already presented to you the warning. 28 The Sentence that comes from Me cannot be changed, and I am not unjust (to the least) to the slaves." 29
