We verily created man and We know what his soul whispereth to him, and We are nearer to him than his jugular vein. 16 When the two Receivers receive (him), seated on the right hand and on the left, 17 not a word he utters, but by him is an observer ready. 18 And when the agony of death comes in truth (they will say): 'This is what you have been trying to avoid' 19 And the Horn will be blown. That is the Day of [carrying out] the threat. 20 And every soul will come, with it a driver and a witness. 21 You were heedless of this, but now We have removed your veil, so your sight today is sharp. 22 And his companion (angel) will say: "Here is (this Record) ready with me!" 23 The command was given: “Cast into Hell every hardened, stubborn unbeliever, 24 Forbidder of good, exceeder of limits, doubter, 25 Who setteth up another god along with Allah. Do ye twain hurl him to the dreadful doom. 26 ۞ His [devil] companion will say, "Our Lord, I did not make him transgress, but he [himself] was in extreme error." 27 (It was said): “Do not remonstrate in My presence. I had warned you. 28 "The Word changes not before Me, and I do not the least injustice to My Servants." 29
