Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
60 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Dunes (Al-Ahqaaf) before Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the (Winds) that scatter broadcast; 1 by the clouds which are heavily loaded with water, 2 then the easy runners (the ships); 3 and those that apportion [the gift of life] at [God's] behest! 4 What you are threatened with is most surely true, 5 And verily the Requital is surely to befall. 6 by the heaven full of tracks, 7 your ideas are confused. 8 Deluded away from the Qur'an is he who is deluded. 9 Cursed be the liars, 10 and who wander in the abyss of confusion. 11 They ask, "When will be the Day of Judgment and Justice?" 12 On the Day of Judgment they will be punished by the fire 13 'Taste your trial! This is that you were seeking to hasten.' 14 Surely those who guard (against evil) shall be in gardens and fountains. 15 receiving what their Lord will give them because before this they were gooddoers. 16 They used to sleep but little of the night, 17 and would ask for forgiveness at dawn, 18 and the beggar and the outcast had a share in their wealth. 19 And in the earth are signs for those who are certain. 20 just as [there are signs thereof] within your own selves: can you not, then, see? 21 And in the heaven is your sustenance and what you are threatened with. 22 So by oath of the Lord of the heavens and the earth, this Qur’an is the Truth, in the same language that you speak. 23

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
