Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the winds which scatter dust, 1 which carry clouds laden with water, 2 And those that glide with ease (upon the sea) 3 and the partitioners, 4 What you are threatened with is most surely true, 5 The Judgement will indeed take place. 6 By the heaven full of paths. 7 Indeed, you are in differing speech. 8 Let whoever wishes, turn away from Our Quran. 9 Cursed be the liars, 10 Who are lost in deception. 11 They ask, "When it will be the Day of Judgment?" 12 (It is) the day when they will be tormented at the Fire, 13 and will be told, "Suffer the torment which you wanted to experience immediately". 14 Surely the God-fearing will find themselves in the midst of gardens and springs. 15 Accepting what their Lord has given them. Indeed, they were before that doers of good. 16 They slept but a little at night, 17 And every morning asked forgiveness, 18 And in their wealth and possessions (was remembered) the right of the (needy,) him who asked, and him who (for some reason) was prevented (from asking). 19 In the earth there is evidence (of the Truth) for those who have strong faith. 20 and in your selves; what, do you not see? 21 And in the heaven is your provision, and that which you are promised. 22 So by oath of the Lord of the heavens and the earth, this Qur’an is the Truth, in the same language that you speak. 23
