Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the dipersing winds that disperse. 1 Then by oath of those which carry the burdens. 2 And those that glide with ease (upon the sea) 3 Then by oath of those which distribute by the command. 4 Verily, that which you are promised is true indeed, 5 and the Judgement shall doubtlessly take place. 6 by the heaven full of tracks, 7 Indeed, you are in differing speech. 8 Turned aside therefrom is who is turned aside. 9 Perish the conjecturers 10 Those who (flounder) heedless in a flood of confusion: 11 They ask: “When will the Day of Judgement be?” 12 (It will be) a Day when they will be tried (and tested) over the Fire! 13 "Taste your trial. This is what you sought to hasten." 14 As for the God-fearing, they shall be in the midst of gardens and fountains, 15 Taking what their Lord gives them; surely they were before that, the doers of good. 16 They used to sleep but little in the night. 17 praying at dawn for God's pardon, 18 and in their wealth was a share for whosoever asked and for whosoever was prevented. 19 In the earth there is evidence (of the Truth) for those who have strong faith. 20 and also in yourselves. Can you not see? 21 And in the heaven lies your sustenance, and the promise you are given. 22 By the Lord of the heaven and the earth, it is certainly the truth. It is as true as your ability to speak. 23
