With power did We construct the heaven. Verily, We are Able to extend the vastness of space thereof. 47 And the earth – We spread it out, and how well have We smoothed it! 48 And all things We have created by pairs, that haply ye may reflect. 49 Therefore hasten to God; truly, I am sent by Him to give you clear warning. 50 Do not set up with Allah another god. I am a clear warner to you from Him. 51 Even so not a Messenger came to those before them but they said, 'A sorcerer, or a man possessed!' 52 Have they handed this down from one to another? No, rather, they are an insolent nation. 53 So withdraw from them (O Muhammad), for thou art in no wise blameworthy, 54 And remind, for indeed, the reminder benefits the believers. 55 I have not created mankind and jinn except to worship Me. 56 I do not desire from them any sustenance and I do not desire that they should feed Me. 57 Indeed it is Allah, Who is the Greatest Sustainer, the Strong, the Able. 58 And indeed for these unjust is also a turn of punishment, like that of their companions – so they must not ask Me to hasten. 59 Woe, then, betide those who disbelieved in that Day of theirs which they are being asked to hold in dread. 60
