We built the heavens by Our authority; and We are the Lord of power and expanse. 47 And the earth – We spread it out, and how well have We smoothed it! 48 And of everything created We two kinds; haply you will remember. 49 And so, [O Muhammad, say unto them:] "Flee unto God [from all that is false and evil]! Verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him! 50 And set not up with God another god; I am a clear warner from Him to you. 51 Similarly, no messenger came to the Peoples before them, but they said (of him) in like manner, "A sorcerer, or one possessed"! 52 Have they arrived at a common understanding concerning this? No; but they are a people given to transgression. 53 So turn away from them: not thine is the blame. 54 And warn, for warning profiteth believers. 55 And I created the jinns and men, only for them to worship Me. 56 I do not desire from them any sustenance and I do not desire that they should feed Me. 57 Lo! Allah! He it is that giveth livelihood, the Lord of unbreakable might. 58 And verily, they who are bent on doing evil shall have their share [of evil] like unto the share of their fellows [of old]: so let them not ask Me to hasten [their doom]! 59 And woe to those who have disbelieved from their Day which they are promised. 60
