With power and skill did We construct the Firmament: for it is We Who create the vastness of pace. 47 And the earth We have spread out, and excellent is the preparer. 48 We have created everything in pairs so that perhaps you may take heed. 49 Flee, therefore, to Allah. Surely I am a clear warner to you from Him; 50 And do not set up with Allah another god: surely I am a plain warner to you from Him. 51 Even thus no apostle came to those before them but they said: "He is a sorcerer or a mad man." 52 Have they handed this down from one to another? No, rather, they are an insolent nation. 53 Then turn your back upon them for you are not to blame; 54 But teach (thy Message) for teaching benefits the Believers. 55 And I created the jinns and men, only for them to worship Me. 56 I do not expect to receive any sustenance from them or that they should feed Me. 57 Verily Allah! He is the Provider, Owner of power, Firm. 58 And lo! for those who (now) do wrong there is an evil day like unto the evil day (which came for) their likes (of old); so let them not ask Me to hasten on (that day). 59 woe, then, to those who are bent on denying the truth, when the Day arrives which they have been promised. 60
