Therefore proclaim thou the praises (of thy Lord): for by the Grace of thy Lord, thou art no (vulgar) soothsayer, nor art thou one possessed. 29 Or do they say [of you], "A poet for whom we await a misfortune of time?" 30 Say: Wait, for surely I too with you am of those who wait. 31 Do their minds command them this [i.e. to tell a lie against you (Muhammad SAW)] or are they people exceeding the bounds (i.e. from Belief in Allah to disbelief). 32 What! They say, “He has invented the Qur'an”? Rather they do not have faith. 33 Then let them produce a statement like it, if they should be truthful. 34 Did they come into being without any creator? Or were they their own creators? 35 Or is it they who created the heavens and the earth? No; the truth is that they lack sure faith. 36 Do they own the treasures of your Lord? Have they any authority over God? 37 Or do they have a ladder (climbing which) they can hear (the secrets of heaven)? Let one who has heard then bring a clear proof. 38 Or does Allah have daughters whereas you have sons? 39 Or is it that you (O Muhammad SAW) ask a wage from them (for your preaching of Islamic Monotheism) so that they are burdened with a load of debt? 40 Or have they [knowledge of] the unseen, so they write [it] down? 41 Or seek they to ensnare (the messenger)? But those who disbelieve, they are the ensnared! 42 Or, do they have a god, other than Allah? Exaltations to Allah above that which they associate! 43 Even if they saw lumps falling from heaven, they would say, 'A massed cloud!' 44 So, leave them until they face their day (of doom) when they will be stunned. 45 the day when their guile shall avail them naught, and they shall not be helped. 46 And verily for those who do wrong there is a torment before that; but most of them know not. 47 Wait patiently for the command of your Lord. We are watching over you. Glorify your Lord when you rise during the night 48 And in the night also hallow Him, and at the setting of the stars. 49
