Therefore, remind. By the Favor of Allah, you are neither a soothsayer, nor mad. 29 Do they say: "He is a poet for whom we expect an adverse turn of fortune?" 30 Say thou: wait verily I am, with you, among the waiters. 31 Or, do their intellects order them to do this? Or, are they an insolent people? 32 Or do they say, 'He has invented it?' Nay, but they do not believe. 33 Let them produce a phrase like it, if what they say is true! 34 Or were they created of themselves? Or are they the creators? 35 [And] have they created the heavens and the earth? Nay, but they have no certainty of anything! 36 Are with them the treasures of thy Lord! or are they the dispensers? 37 Or have they a ladder whereon they listen? Then let any of them that has listened bring a clear authority. 38 Or has He daughters, and they sons? 39 Or do you (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) ask any fee from them, so they are burdened with the penalty? 40 Or is it that they have access to (the Truths in) the realm beyond sense-perception which they are writing down? 41 Or do they want to stage a deception? -- Then only those who do not believe will be the ones who will be tricked. 42 Do they have any god other than Allah? Exalted be Allah above whatever they associate (with Him in His Divinity). 43 AND YET, if they [who refuse to see the truth] were to see part of the sky falling down, they would [only] say: "[It is but] a mass of clouds!" 44 Leave them then till they meet that day of theirs wherein they shall be made to swoon (with terror): 45 A day on which their scheming will not benefit them at all, nor will they be helped. 46 But, verily, for those who are bent on doing evil, there is suffering in store [even] closer at hand than that [supreme suffering in the hereafter]: but most of them are not aware of it. 47 So wait patiently (O Muhammad SAW) for the Decision of your Lord, for verily, you are under Our Eyes, and glorify the Praises of your Lord when you get up from sleep. 48 And in a part of the night exalt Him and after [the setting of] the stars. 49
