Observedest thou him who turned away? 33 And gave a little, then stopped (giving)? 34 What! Has he knowledge of the Unseen so that he can see? 35 Did not the news reach him, of that which is mentioned in the Books of Moosa? 36 And with Abraham who kept his word: 37 That no soul laden bears the load of another, 38 And that man hath only that for which he maketh effort, 39 and that (the result of) his striving shall soon be seen, 40 and will be fully recompensed for his deeds. 41 To your Lord will all things eventually return. 42 and that He it is Who causes people to laugh and to cry, 43 and that it is He alone who deals death and grants life; 44 and that it is He who creates the two kinds - the male and the female 45 of a sperm-drop, when it was cast forth, 46 That the second creation is incumbent on Him; 47 And that He it is Who enricheth and contenteth; 48 And that He only is the Lord of the star Sirius? 49 and that it is He who destroyed the ancient [tribes of] Ad 50 and Thamud tribes, 51 And before them, the people of Noah, for that they were (all) most unjust and most insolent transgressors, 52 And the subverted cities He overthrew. 53 So they were covered with whatever covered them? 54 Then which of the Graces of your Lord (O man!) will you doubt. 55 He who warns you is one of the warners of old. 56 The imminent Hour has drawn near, 57 [although] none but God can unveil it.... 58 Are you astonished at this news, 59 And will you laugh and not weep? 60 Will you remain proudly heedless? 61 So fall you down in prostration to Allah, and worship Him (Alone). ۩ 62
