(Muhammad), have you ever seen the one who has turned away (from guidance), 33 and gives a little, grudgingly? 34 Hath he knowledge of the Unseen so that he seeth? 35 Did not the news reach him, of that which is mentioned in the Books of Moosa? 36 And of Ibrahim (Abraham) who fulfilled (or conveyed) all that (what Allah ordered him to do or convey), 37 That no soul laden bears the load of another, 38 and that a man shall have to his account only as he has laboured, 39 and that his labouring shall surely be seen, 40 Thereafter he shall be recompensed therefor with the fullest recompense. 41 And that to your Lord is your returning; 42 and that it is He alone who causes [you] to laugh and to weep; 43 And that it is He Who gave death and gave life? 44 It is He who has created spouses, male and female, 45 from an ejected drop of sperm; 46 And that upon Him (Allah) is another bringing forth (Resurrection); 47 that He it is Who bestowed wealth and riches, 48 and that it is He alone who sustains the brightest star; 49 It is He who utterly destroyed the ancient tribes of Ad, 50 And that Thamud! He left not. 51 And the people of Nuh (Noah) aforetime, verily, they were more unjust and more rebellious and transgressing [in disobeying Allah and His Messenger Nuh (Noah)]. 52 and He overthrew the subverted cities [of Sodom and Gomorrah] 53 and then covered them from sight forever. 54 On which then of your Lord's signs do you cast doubt? 55 This is a Warner, of the (series of) Warners of old! 56 The Day of Resurrection draws near, 57 apart from God none can disclose it. 58 So are you surprised at this fact? 59 And keep laughing and do not weep, 60 and divert yourselves all the while? 61 So prostrate yourselves before Allah and worship. ۩ 62
