Did you (O Muhammad SAW) observe him who turned away (from Islam). 33 and gives a little, grudgingly? 34 Or, does he possess knowledge of the Unseen, and can therefore see? 35 Has he not been made acquainted with what was written in the scriptures of Moses? 36 and of Abraham, who lived up to the trust? 37 To wit, that a burthened soul shall not bear the burthen of another. 38 That a man receives but only that for which he strives; 39 and that in time [the nature of] all his striving will be shown [to him in its true light,] 40 Thereafter he shall be recompensed therefor with the fullest recompense. 41 And that to your Lord (Allah) is the End (Return of everything). 42 And that it is He Who causeth to laugh and causeth to weep. 43 and that it is He alone who deals death and grants life; 44 And that it is He Who has created the two pairs, male and female? 45 of a sperm-drop, when it was cast forth, 46 and on Him depends the life hereafter. 47 and that it is He who gives wealth and riches, 48 That He is the Lord of Sirius; 49 that it was He that destroyed ancient Aad 50 And that Thamud! He left not. 51 And the people of Nuh (Noah) aforetime, verily, they were more unjust and more rebellious and transgressing [in disobeying Allah and His Messenger Nuh (Noah)]. 52 And He overthrew the Cities of the Plain, 53 And covered them by that which He covered. 54 Which of your Lord's benefits will you then dispute about? 55 This is a warning just like those of former times. 56 The threatened Hour is nigh. 57 None but God can avert it. 58 Does this statement seem strange to them 59 And laugh and not weep? 60 while you are thoughtless? 61 Bow instead in adoration before God and worship Him. ۩ 62
Almighty Allah's Truth.
End of Surah: The Stars (Al-Najm). Sent down in Mecca after Absoluteness (Al-Ikhlaas) before He Frowned ('Abasa)
