Did you (O Muhammad SAW) observe him who turned away (from Islam). 33 Who gives but little, and is niggardly? 34 Does he have knowledge of the unseen, so he sees? 35 Has he not heard what is contained in the Book of Moses, 36 And of Abraham who fulfilled his trust? -- 37 That no bearer of burden shall bear the burden of another- 38 nor can man achieve anything without hard labor. 39 and that his labouring shall surely be seen, 40 Then will he be rewarded with a reward complete; 41 that all things in the end shall return to God; 42 It is He who causes laughter and weeping. 43 and that He it is Who causes death and grants life, 44 And that He createth the two spouses, the male and the female, 45 From Nutfah (drops of semen male and female discharges) when it is emitted; 46 And that upon Him (Allah) is another bringing forth (Resurrection); 47 And that it is He (Allah) Who gives much or a little (or gives wealth and contentment), 48 And that He is the Lord of the Sirius; 49 And that it is He Who earlier destroyed the tribe of Aad? 50 and Thamood, and He did not spare them, 51 And also the people of Nuh aforetime. Verily they were even greater wrong-doers and more contumacious. 52 And the overthrown cities did He overthrow, 53 So that they were covered over by what they were covered over. 54 Then which of the favors of your Lord do you doubt? 55 This is a Warner, of the (series of) Warners of old! 56 The approaching event has come near. 57 There shall be none besides Allah to remove it. 58 Do you then marvel at this discourse, 59 and do they laugh instead of weeping, 60 While you are indulging in varieties. 61 So bow yourselves before God, and serve Him! ۩ 62
