So did you observe him who turned away? 33 And gave little, and then stopped? 34 Does he have knowledge of the unseen, so he sees? 35 Has he not been made acquainted with what was written in the scriptures of Moses? 36 and Abraham, who paid his debt in full? 37 That no soul shall bear another's burden, 38 And that man can have nothing but what he does (good or bad). 39 That his endeavours will be judged, 40 Then he will be recompensed with a full and the best recompense. 41 To your Lord will all things eventually return. 42 and that He it is Who causes people to laugh and to cry, 43 And that it is He who causes death and gives life 44 and that it is He who created pairs, the male and the female, 45 From a sperm-drop when it is emitted 46 And that upon Him is another bringing forth. 47 And that He it is Who enricheth and contenteth; 48 And that He only is the Lord of the star Sirius? 49 and that He destroyed Ad, the ancient, 50 And destroyed the tribe of Thamud, not sparing anyone? 51 And the people of Nuh before; surely they were most unjust and inordinate; 52 and the Subverted City He also overthrew, 53 and caused them to be covered with that which He covered them with. 54 Then which of the Graces of your Lord (O man!) will you doubt. 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The near event draws nigh. 57 None but God can avert it. 58 Do you then wonder at this announcement? 59 and do they laugh instead of weeping, 60 Wasting your time in vanities? 61 So prostrate to Allah and worship [Him]. ۩ 62
