So did you observe him who turned away? 33 And gave a little, then was grudging? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the unseen, thus, he sees (all things)? 35 Or has he never yet been told of what was [said] in the revelations of Moses, 36 And Abraham who paid his debt: 37 That no bearer of burden shall bear the burden of another- 38 And that man can have nothing but what he does (good or bad). 39 That his endeavours will be judged, 40 And afterward he will be repaid for it with fullest payment; 41 And that to your Lord is your returning; 42 That it is He who makes you happy and morose, 43 And He who ordains death and life; 44 And that He createth the pair, the male and the female. 45 From a seed when lodged (in its place); 46 And that upon Him (Allah) is another bringing forth (Resurrection); 47 that it is He who gives wealth and possessions; 48 That He is the Lord of Sirius; 49 And that it is He Who destroyed the (powerful) ancient 'Ad (people), 50 And Thamud (people). He spared none of them. 51 and before them the people of Noah who were even more unjust and insolent; 52 And the overturned towns He hurled down 53 and then covered them from sight forever. 54 On which then of your Lord's signs do you cast doubt? 55 This [Prophet] is a warner like the former warners. 56 The imminent Hour has drawn near, 57 and none but Allah can avert it. 58 Do you marvel then at this discourse (the Koran)? 59 And do you laugh instead of weeping, 60 And ye are behaving proudly. 61 Rather prostrate yourselves before Allah and serve Him. ۩ 62
