Have you then seen him who turns his back? 33 and gives so little [of himself for the good of his soul,] and so grudgingly? 34 Is with him knowledge of the unseen so that he seeth? 35 Has he not been made acquainted with what was written in the scriptures of Moses? 36 and of Abraham, who to his trust was true: 37 That no laden one shall bear another's load, 38 and that a man shall have to his account only as he has laboured, 39 and that his work is surely seen 40 Thereafter he shall be recompensed therefor with the fullest recompense. 41 and that the final end is unto thy Lord, 42 And that it is He Who made (you) laugh and made (you) cry? 43 And that He it is Who causes death and gives life- 44 and that He Himself created the two kinds, male and female, 45 From Nutfah (drops of semen male and female discharges) when it is emitted; 46 and that upon Him rests the second growth, 47 and that it is He who gives wealth and riches, 48 And that He only is the Lord of the star Sirius? 49 And that it is He (Allah) Who destroyed the former 'Ad (people), 50 And Samood, so He spared not 51 Like the people of Noah before them, who were surely oppressors and rebellious; 52 He plunged the villages 53 So there covered them that which did cover (i.e. torment with stones). 54 Concerning which then, of the bounties of thy Lord, canst thou dispute? 55 This is a warner from the warners of ancient times. 56 The approaching event has come near. 57 None except Allah can avert it. 58 Do ye then wonder at this recital? 59 And will ye laugh and not weep,- 60 while you are thoughtless? 61 Prostrate yourselves before God, and worship Him alone! ۩ 62
