And certainly the warning came to Firon's people. 41 They denied Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with a seizure of one Exalted in Might and Perfect in Ability. 42 Are your unbelievers (of Makkah) any better than they? Or have you been granted any immunity in the Scriptures? 43 Do they say, "We shall be victorious because we are united?" 44 The group will soon be routed, and will turn their backs to flee. 45 But nay - the Last Hour is the time when they shall truly meet their fate; and that Last Hour will be most calamitous, and most bitter: 46 Verily the culprits shall be in great error and madness. 47 on the Day when they are dragged into the fire on their faces, it will be said to them, "Now feel the touch of Hell!" 48 We have indeed created all things by measure; 49 And Our command is but one, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 We have destroyed the likes of you; is there any that will remember? 51 And each and everything they have done is noted in (their) Records (of deeds). 52 And everything small and great is written down. 53 Lo! the righteous will dwell among gardens and rivers, 54 At the still centre in the proximity of the King all-powerful. 55
