And indeed the Noble Messengers came to the people of Firaun. 41 but they rejected all Our miracles. So We seized them in the way that a Majestic and All-powerful One would. 42 What, are your unbelievers better than those? Or have you an immunity in the Scrolls? 43 Or do they say, 'We are a congregation that shall be succoured?' 44 Soon shall this legion be routed and shall turn their backs and flee. 45 Indeed, the Hour of Doom is their appointed time, and the Last Hour will be the most severe, and the most bitter. 46 Truly those in sin are the ones straying in mind, and mad. 47 On the day when they are dragged upon their faces in the fire – “Taste the heat of hell.” 48 We have indeed created all things by a proper measure. 49 and Our ordaining [a thing and its coming into being] is but one [act,] like the twinkling of an eye. 50 We have indeed destroyed many a people like you. Is there anyone who would receive admonition? 51 All their deeds are recorded in the Scrolls; 52 Every small or great deed is written down. 53 Surely those who fear God and follow the straight path will be amidst gardens and light, 54 In a good seat, near a Sovereign Omnipotent. 55
