And certainly the warning came to Firon's people. 41 They, too, rejected all Our signs. So We seized them with the seizure of One Mighty, Omnipotent. 42 Are your unbelievers (of Makkah) any better than they? Or have you been granted any immunity in the Scriptures? 43 Or do they say: "We acting together can defend ourselves"? 44 The hosts will all be routed and will turn and flee. 45 Nay, the Hour (of Judgment) is the time promised them (for their full recompense): And that Hour will be most grievous and most bitter. 46 Verily, the Mujrimun (polytheists, disbelievers, sinners, criminals, etc.) are in error (in this world) and will burn (in the Hell-fire in the Hereafter). 47 On that Day they will be dragged into the fire faces foremost, (and told:) "Taste the feel of Hell." 48 We have created everything to fulfill a certain purpose. 49 And Our command is but one, like a glance of the eye. 50 We have destroyed the likes of you; is there any that will remember? 51 All that they do is noted in (their) Books (of Deeds): 52 Every small or great deed is written down. 53 Surely those who fear God and follow the straight path will be amidst gardens and light, 54 in a seat of truth, in the presence of a Sovereign who determines all things. 55
