All that dwells upon the earth is perishing, 26 And there will remain the countenance of thine Lord, Owner of Majesty and Beneficence. 27 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord, will ye twain belie? 28 All in the heavens and the earth entreat Him for their needs; a new, mighty task engages Him each day. 29 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? 30 Anon We shall direct Ourselves to you, O ye two classes. 31 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 32 O assembly of jinn and man! if ye be able to pass out of the regions of the heavens and the earth, then pass out; ye can not pass out except with authority. 33 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 34 There shall be sent against you both flame of fire and smoke, and ye shall not be able to defend yourselves. 35 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 36 And when the sky is rent asunder and becomes red like [burning] oil 37 Which of the favours of your Lord will you then deny? 38 So on that day neither man nor jinni shall be asked about his sin. 39 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 40 The culprits will be recognised by their marks, and will be lain hold of by the forelocks and the feet. 41 Which of the powers of your Lord, will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 42 This is Gehenna (Hell) which the sinners belied, 43 They shall keep going back and forth between it and the extremely hot boiling water. 44 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 45
