▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for him who lived in awe of the sublimity of his Lord, there will be two gardens -- 46 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 47 With spreading branches. 48 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 49 Therein are two running fountains. 50 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 51 In which are fruits of all kinds, each of two varieties. 52 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 53 [They are] reclining on beds whose linings are of silk brocade, and the fruit of the two gardens is hanging low. 54 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 55 Therein are those of modest gaze, whom neither man nor jinni will have touched before them. 56 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 57 lovely as rubies, beautiful as coral -- 58 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 59 Is the reward of goodness aught save goodness? 60 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 61 Besides those two there shall be two other gardens. 62 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 63 dark green in color. 64 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 65 In [each of] these two [gardens] will two springs gush forth. 66 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 67 In which will be the fruit, date-palms and pomegranates. 68 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 69 In them are women of good behaviour and gorgeous faces. 70 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 71 [There the blest will live with their] companions pure and modest, in pavilions [splendid] 72 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 73 Untouched by any man or jinn, before them. 74 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 75 Reclining on green cushions and rich beautiful mattresses. 76 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 77 Blessed be your Lord's name, full of glory and majesty! 78
True are the words of God the Almighty.
